Industry. Entertainment.

Show control, motion, and themed environment panels built by controls specialists who understand the reliability bar.

A ride that stops mid-cycle is a guest evacuation and a revenue hit. Show timing has to land on the cue. We build show control panels, theatrical staging effects, kinetic motion systems, and theme park ride control panels, with the right safety design partner engaged for ASTM F24 scope.

What we take on
3 tiers of entertainment work. Each with a clear scope boundary.

Entertainment work spans a wide range of liability. We are transparent about what we build, what we partner on, and what we do not offer. Pick the tier that matches your project.

Tier 1. Lower liability. In scope.

Show control, AV, and kinetic motion

  • Show control sequencing and cue systems
  • Custom AV and audio integration panels
  • Kinetic motion systems (non-passenger)
  • Themed environment lighting control
  • Servo and VFD-driven motion panels

These are straightforward automation builds. We handle them end to end.

Tier 2. Medium liability. In scope.

Theatrical effects and non-passenger systems

  • Theatrical staging effects panels
  • Non-passenger animatronic control
  • Fly system electrical (rigging by others)
  • Pyro-control electrical (firing by others)

We build the electrical and control panel. For fly rigging and pyro firing, the discipline experts on your team or subs handle the safety design for their scope.

Tier 3. Higher liability. In scope with partner.

Theme park ride control panels

  • Ride control panel design and build
  • Safety circuit build for ride interlocks
  • ASTM F24 and CSA Z614 safety design by subcontracted partner
  • Safety sign-off by partner, not Innovacore

We provide the panel electrical. The ASTM F24 safety design and sign-off are handled by a contracted safety integrator. We coordinate, they certify.

Scope and partnering. Passenger-carrying ride control is scoped exclusively with a contracted safety integrator handling ASTM F24 / CSA Z614 design and sign-off. We deliver the panel electrical and controls; the safety integrator certifies. Contact us to discuss scope and partner arrangement.

What themed-attraction programs demand
4 things every ride and show buyer checks before they sign a PO.

A themed attraction runs thousands of cycles a season. Show timing has to land on the millisecond. Your control panel is the part that decides whether the ride opens at park open. We build for that.

Show timing that lands on the cue, every cycle.

PLC and HMI logic written for deterministic scan times. Cue accuracy on motion, lighting, and audio triggers tied into your show control bus.

Fail-safe interlocks that drop to a safe state.

E-stops, light curtains, gate sensors, and ride-ready interlocks designed to fail to stop. Safety circuits separated from process logic, wired and labeled for audit.

Panels that hide behind theming and survive the climate.

Custom enclosure footprints to fit show set dressing. NEMA 4X for wash-down and outdoor exposure. Component selection rated for Florida humidity and queue-line abuse.

Redundancy on systems that cannot fail mid-show.

Dual-path power, hot-spare PLC racks, and fault logic that keeps the ride safely cycling guests off if any single point drops. We build for the show to end clean, not crash.

How we meet it
Controls-led build process applied to ride and show work.

A themed ride is a mission-critical system that runs in front of the public. We build it with the same documentation discipline and FAT rigor we apply to industrial automation work. Same wiring practice. Same test records.

  • Show and ride control design. Schematics, I/O lists, cue maps, and interlock matrices aligned to your ride or show package.
  • PLC and HMI programming. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider. Logic written for predictable scan times, safe states, and clean recovery on fault.
  • Theatrical staging effects panels. Control panels for theatrical rigging effects, fly system electrical (rigging by others), pyro-control electrical (firing by others), and non-passenger animatronic systems.
  • Safety circuit build. E-stop, light curtain, gate, and interlock circuits separated from process logic. Designed to fail to a safe state.
  • Panel fabrication. NEMA 4X, 12, and 3R enclosures. Custom footprints to drop behind set dressing or into equipment rooms.
  • Ride control panels with safety partner. For ASTM F24 and CSA Z614 scope, we coordinate with a subcontracted safety integrator who owns the safety design and sign-off.
  • FAT in our shop. Continuity, dielectric, function, and cue timing verified before the panel ships. Documented and signed.
  • SAT and commissioning on site. We stay until the ride or show cycles clean. Operator training and full as-built drawings on the way out.

  • As-built schematics, I/O lists, and cue maps
  • Interlock matrix and safety circuit documentation
  • FAT report with continuity, dielectric, and function records
  • Photo log, inspection sign-off, and traceability
  • Safety partner coordination for ASTM F24 ride scope
  • Operator and maintenance documentation
Standards we build to
The right standard, applied to ride and show work.

These are the standards we apply on themed-attraction panel work. ASTM F24 ride safety design is subcontracted to a certified partner for Tier 3 scope.

ASTM F24 / CSA Z614 Via safety partner

For theme park ride control panels, ASTM F24 and CSA Z614 safety design and sign-off are handled by a subcontracted certified safety integrator. We build the panel electrical and coordinate the safety scope.

NEC and NFPA 70

Branch circuit protection, grounding, and conductor selection sized for ride loads, queue lighting, and animation power distribution.

NEMA 4X and 12

Enclosure ratings selected for wash-down zones, outdoor splash, and humid back-of-house equipment rooms common in Florida theme parks.

UL 508A Application in progress

We already build to UL 508A practice on every panel. Certification application is in progress.

Mission-critical process. Show-floor work.

We build entertainment panels with the same rigor we use on industrial automation work.

A ride that stops mid-cycle is a guest evacuation, a ride downtime report, and a revenue hit. The reliability bar is closer to a launch system than a generic factory line. We apply controls-led build process to every entertainment panel: IPC-620 wiring, separated safety circuits, full FAT, and signed documentation.

For ride control panels with ASTM F24 scope, we bring in a certified safety partner to own the safety design. We coordinate the build and the safety review so you have 1 engagement point, not 3.
